Before You Visit – What To Wear Ziplining

With all ziplining activities, long hair should be tied back. Remove jewellery, such as necklaces and closed toe shoes are a must. (The Northern Lights Sky Ropes Course at the Wilderness have Crocs available to borrow. However for most large courses it’s best to wear tie shoes).

Many tours will run rain or shine and the ones open year round operate in the snow. Make sure to dress for the weather. Shorts are usually allowed, just ensure they are long enough to cover the skin where the harness will sit.

For high ropes courses it is sometimes a good idea to wear gloves. Especially on elements that involve hand held grips or cargo net climbs.

Different courses have different policies regarding cameras and phones. Some will allow GoPros or phones that can be secures, others say they are not allowed at all.
