This sweet tea beverage is made using fresh peaches, but you could substitute frozen peaches. You could use canned peaches, but make sure they're packed in light fruit juice and you drain them very well.

  • 8 cups water
  • 6 black tea bags
  • 4 fresh peaches pitted and cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger finely minced
  • 2 to 4 tablespoon honey

Step-by-Step Instructions

Boil the Water

  • In a saucepan, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil and remove from heat.
  • Add the tea bags and cover the saucepan to allow the tea bags to steep.
  • All the tea to come to room temperature and then remove the tea bags from the water.

Add the Sliced Peaches

  • Fill a pitcher about ⅓ with ice.
  • Add the tea to the pitcher.
  • Add the chopped peaches, ginger and honey.

Chill and Serve!

  • Taste for sweetness and add more honey if necessary.
  • Chill the tea for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Serve over ice with peach slices and sprigs of fresh mint as a garnish if desired.

Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Homemade Peach Iced Tea is the perfect drink to help you beat the heat this summer!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups water

    Hi! I really like quite a few of your recipes but I sure wish they were easier to pin! I looked and looked for a "pin" logo at the top of the recipe and finally found it all the way at the bottom. But it doesn't work. Bummer.
