One New Jersey Lottery Player Wins $1,000 a Week for Life

TRENTON (July 24, 2024) – One New Jersey Lottery CASH4LIFE ticket matched the five white balls drawn for the Monday, July 22, drawing winning the $1,000 a week for life second-tier prize.

You'll need to fill out a claim form to receive a check for the prize. The lottery says claims can take four to six weeks to process. If you've won a jackpot over $25,000 or just prefer to file your claim in person, you can request an appointment with New Jersey Lottery staff by calling 1-800-222-0996.

While lottery tickets can already be purchased through third-party companies on Lotto.com and via the Jackpocket app, the move would allow the direct sale of tickets to players through the state lottery's website, NJLottery.com, and New Jersey Lottery app beginning in fall 2024, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

Jackpocket has fulfilled over $1 billion in lottery ticket orders since its launch, and users have now won over $430 million in lottery prizes while using the app.

If you win a lottery prize on Jackpocket, the app will automatically credit your account for the amount won up to the threshold amount in your state (usually ~$600). If you win over the threshold, we will arrange to securely send your ticket to you so you can claim your winnings with your state lottery.
